Hyper Text Markup Language(HTML) is a structural language and Cascading Style Sheet(CSS) is a styling language. Both of them work together to give birth to a web page. Current version of HTML is 4.1 and W3C have changed its name to XHTML in future releases and CSS is in it 2.1 version
